These really are fantastic. I was on BT home hub wireless, but on an 8 meg connection I was getting 1 meg max due to living in an old victorian terrace. This made online console play almost impossible. I switch to these - simple as plugging in and connecting one end to the router, and one to the console/pc and I was up to 5.5meg!
This kept the missus happy as she was concerned we were microwaving our 2 year olds brain. This was of course almost as important as me becoming a COD4 killing machine!
It really is simple and works similar to voodoo. Really fantastic product. Worth a firmware upgrade as soon as you get it particularly if you run Vista.
It's amazing, I'm not sure how it works, but i'm not complaining. all you do is plug one into the back of your router, then the other end into the nearest electricity outlet, and *bing* you have internet. all you do is plug one in any power outlet in your house and the standard ethernet cable into your pc or laptop and you have internet! it's great speed too, never lags for games or HD video streaming.
I bought two of these and I am very impressed. Setup took no more than 2 minutes as they really are plug and play. According to the instructions, they can't be used on extension leads, but both of mine are on them and work a treat!
