I had over 10 hard drives in the past but never a Lacie. After huge dissapointment with WD drives I have decided to give Lacie a go. I am not dissapointed. It is FAST, QUIET and so far very RELIABLE. It took under three hours to transfer 1.7TB of data from a USB2 drive to Lacie USB3. I've tried this transfer 3 years ago with a WD and it took 2 days and 7 yours.
As a photographer, I use it about 5-6 hours a day and it does not heat up as my other drivers did. So far this beast is the BEST.
