Samsung Story Station 2TB External USB Hard Drive

i first purchased the 1.5TB version of this about a year and half ago and was very impressed with the build quality. the chassis is robust, there's a on / off switch with dimmer. samsung back up ans ecret zone are worth having. The 2TB is no different with the exception of 500gb more. Best value 2TB on here, well worth paying 8pounds more than the others on here.

for the price of this hard drive...its great value and build quality is superb....you actually get about 1.8TB in total...it comes with micro usb to usb connector cable .... 2meters in length... and very long power cable which is like a laptop power supply....it is designed to be stackable.....
the down side is the rotating on off switch......which can be a pain as it also controls the intensity of the light...so you can end up switching the hard drive of by mistake when lowering the light.... which has happened to me!!!
the hardrive also comes with samsung backup software and secret zone.....if required ....i havent tested this yet...
i'll give 9 out 10.....

Bought 9months ago for GBP69.99 (before the floods and subsequent massive price hike).
This is a fab external, only thing that annoys me is not being able to turn off the light completely. There's little chance of turning the HDD off while turning the light down as you'd have to put a good amount of force to turn that last bit. You do get the full 2TB but, as anyone worth their salt knows, some of this is unusable as it's already used for formatting.

i've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and i'm very happy with its performance so far. can't fault it at all.
