Sleek black look. Very fast data transfer with the USB 3.0 port. Easy to set up. Have not used any of the pre-installed software, therefore unable to comment. Overall, happy with performance.
Did a bit of research before opting for the Buffalo. My experience in the past has shown that finding an external hard drive that works nicely with a mac has been a bit problematic. However, I'm pleased with the Buffalo. It did require formating before using with my MacBook Pro though (with Mac OS X 10.5.8). This was quite simple using disk utility. It formated quickly and it then instantly was recognised for use with Time Machine. It's also small, light, and has a glowing green light, and requires no external power source apart from the single usb wire it uses. I would recommend (although I have only used it for one day)
