Freecom XS 1TB USB 2.0 3.5 inch External Hard Drive 31973

This Freecom beauty is the smallest 3.5 inch drive around at the moment! Already formatted in FAT32, it works for the PS3 straight out of the box.
It's enclosed in a lovely rubber matte casing that adds some needed protection for your data storage. But what really made me purchase this instead of the popular Western Digital 1TB "My Book", was the size! It's roughly the depth of 2 DVDs, and weighs abouts the same as the Nintendo Wii! The "My Book" is massive in comparison.
It's also very quiet, the rubber casing around it certainly helps!

My PS3 detected "harddrive XS" immediately, and I then put a few photos, music, films and game saves on it, so that I didn't have to create these Folders on my PC. Et voila, 930 GB of HDD space!The only minor complaint, is that the USB 2.0 cable provided is far too short, and I had to use my own. Other than that, this external HDD is superb for PS3 use!

Setup couldn't be simpler, just plug it into your computer and store your data. PC recognised it straight away and moving data from one place to another is accomplished at speed - just drag and drop. My only complaint is the ludicrously short USB cable. A trip to the IT shop solved that as I had to purchase a longer cable so that the drive could sit comfortably on my desktop. Otherwise an excellent product - silent and efficient. I'd definitely buy Freecom again and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting an external drive for their PC. Great value for money, too.

This is a really good hard drive, i bought it to store all my music and other media. Its superb value for money. Its very quiet when being used and works with xbox 360 aswell.
If i had to point out one minor thing it would be that the usb mini cable is very short and i had to buy another cable elsewhere.
But i would highly reccommend this product, no regrets in buying it.

Look no further for one of the best hard drives out there. Reliable and easy to use. Works with both PC and Mac, and already comes formatted in FAT32 so it works with PS3 and Xbox 360.
