Western Digital hard drives are without doubt one of the most reliable hard drive brands. It is recommended that you should always check whether or not a drive will fit your computer prior to purchasing.
The height of this drive is 12.5mm, rather than the usual 9mm. If you have a unibody Macbook Pro, this drive WILL fit! I recommend simple searching online "will the 1tb scorpio blue fit my ____" just to make sure you're 100% that the drive will fit your laptop, this only takes a moment to do and you don't want to be caught out. Lets face it... it's unfair to leave a 1* review on a product that you didn't research properly.
I recommend looking at the info on the Mac Upgrades website, as they give full break downs of which laptops this drive will fit.
This drive is slightly thicker than a normal 2.5" drive. It doesn't fit in my Macbook Pro or any hard drive enclosure that I own. Useless waste of money. I recommend you avoid this drive unless you know it'll fit in your device.
