Does everything it says and easy to use...
With reference to the other guy that reviewed..
Buy a mains lead
Is standard USB lead..we all have a longer one in a drawer somewhere
Buyong a higher quality HDMI lead will give you better performance..

At this price for 2TB its fantastic value and it WORKS with nearly every format I`ve got...

Great Value That Comes At A Small Price

To get a 2TB media player for this cost is fantastic, but there are a few minor issues that you need to know, however i am sure all of you will happily live with.

1: When you download from your computer you have to plug the media player into the mains as well, which is a constant inconvenience.

2: The connection lead from the computer to the hard drive is only 10 inches long. Nothing wrong with that but would be nice to place on table.

3: There is no HDMI lead to go from media player to TV, must buy separately.

Aside from these it does exactly what it says on the tin at a great cost too.

 Good, but not perfect.

On the plus side its very quiet, easy to use, and does play most things quite well. But downloaded MP4 files have a really bad judder (This has happened with all MP4 files off the internet, which is a shame as a lot of HD film are MP4 off the net now). But tried a MP4 trailer from the Sony PS3 shop and it worked fine? Also sometimes when you fast forward it doesnt always keep in sync. But if ths happenes just stop and press play. Copied most of my DVD's onto it and the quality is spot on. So all in all not a bad piece of kit but not perfect. Maybe WD need a new firm ware up date now. It's been a while! May be this would sort out the few problems it has. If they do and it does, then it would get 4 and a half stars.
