Whilst the software has some great features and is solid and reliable, the speed of encoding (or rendering as Sony call it) is appalling, even on a high spec system.
I was experiencing faster rendering and encoding times back in the days of single core Pentium 4's.
This is the case for DVD, so god knows how slow it will be for HD.
If this issue could be addressed by Sony then it would get a 5 star rating but as it is, it is just too slow and cumbersome to allow smooth production.
