EasyCAP USB 2.0 Video And Audio Capture Card

First off there is a couple of things you need to know about this product

1. This is the EasyCap DC60. Not the DC60plus.
This means that you will only be able to get black and white from your xbox.

2. The software that comes with it is ok but not great. For Mac i'd recommend Videoglide and for Windows i'd say try AmCap

3. If you are wanting to record gameplay from xbox then you will be wanting to invest in splitters and an AV to AV cable (red, white, yellow) but as an alternative you can pick up the component cable for xbox that has blue, green, yellow, white and red x 2.

4. Depending on the quality you are looking for and how much you are recording i'd recommend investing in an external HDD cause it can eat up memory like nobodies business.

With that out the way i'd like to say that i have had the model up from this for about a year now and it hasnt let me down. It may be just regular scart but you can get really good quality if you play with the settings and the resolution at what you record. There is plenty of tutorials on youtube if you get stuck or want to see a setup so you know whats going on.

When you plug it in it only works in black and white if you are on xbox.

I want to use this for recording gaming but would it record whats on the screen and put it on usb or would it put whats on the usb on the screen

Okay what you do is download software on your computer with the disk or without a diskdrive you will find software on the internet....next you put the easycap in the usb on your computer..put the male pins from the av wire on your ps2/3 and then from there attach three splitters, and then from there use two female av double sided wires and then attach the pins each to the capture card and the other three pins to your tv.

personaly if you want to record gameing spend alot more money on Hauppauge beacause you will beable to record in HD (people only watch hd game play )

But this will do if you dont want to spend alot of cash
