Bought 100 of these disks to burn on my Panasonic DMREZ27 DVD recorder, previously had no problems with over 200 TDK DVD-R 16x. This new batch is nothing but error messages and failed recordings. Tested the machine with other media no problems. Then loaded DVD Identifier program onto my computer and tested the new disks; they show as Manufacturer Moser-Baer India Ltd MBI 03RG 40. Then tested one the the last batch of TDK's I had previously used with no problems these show as Manufacturer TDK - TTH02. TDK have now lost my custom and hopefully they will pay the price in lost sales for this nasty piece of sleight of hand. Beware of these disks if you are planning to use a fussy recorder like a Panasonic, these machines sniff out crap disks very efficiently. The disks however do burn ok on my computer; but then so does everything else.

 Avoid

These would get 0 stars if it were possible. About 30-40 failed while burning, out of the ones which burnt without errors, i have since discovered that only 5 actually work. Complete and utter waste of time. I have had to reburn everything i every stored on them

 Avoid these discs!!

I thought the days of flaky discs were a thing of the past until I tried to use these. I have two identical NEC burners on two different PCs, one drive saw the discs but was temperamental in writing, the other couldn't determine the writing speed of the discs and failed to burn anything. So much for the reliability of "branded media". Avoid!

 Not Worth it

Fooed by the low price, so I thought I try out these TDK DVD-R's. What seems too good to be true really turned out nightmare at the end. Back up files and copies done with these DVD-R's are not recognisable on most machines, computer drives nor home entertainment players. Would stick to other brands like Maxell DVD-R's, they are much more reliable than these.

 watch out !

TDK's do not have the widest compatibility levels as stated, they dont burn at all with NEC burners, so if you have an NEC burner avoid it like the plague !
