The same Multi-Touch technology first introduced on the revolutionary iPhone comes to the mouse. It's called Magic Mouse, and it's the world's first Multi-Touch mouse. Click anywhere, scroll in any direction and swipe through images on its smooth, seamless top shell. The new Magic Mouse redefines what a mouse should do. In addition to its smooth, seamless top-shell design that acts as one button or two, Magic Mouse features a Multi-Touch surface with gesture support. Scroll vertically, horizontally and diagonally - a full 360 degrees - simply by touching anywhere on the top surface. With a greater surface area for scrolling, you can get around a long timeline in iMovie, through a lengthy web page in Safari or around a set of images in iPhoto more efficiently. You can also swipe through pages in Safari or photos in iPhoto with two fingers. It's the most advanced Apple mouse ever made.

One or two. Left or right.
The seamless, one-button design of Magic Mouse makes it simple to use, right out of the box. But if you want the functionality of a two-button mouse, that's easy, too. Just change the configuration in System Preferences. And the ambidextrous construction means Magic Mouse is great for lefties or righties.

Laser tracking engine.
Magic Mouse features a laser tracking engine that's far more sensitive and responsive on more surfaces than traditional optical technology. That means it can track with precision on nearly every surface with no mouse pad required.

Bluetooth technology.
Magic Mouse works wirelessly with your Bluetooth-enabled Mac. When you combine it with the Apple Wireless Keyboard, the result is an untethered and uncluttered work space. Once you pair Magic Mouse with your Mac, you can enjoy a secure and reliable connection from up to 33 feet away.

 great product! shame about windows support

running a mac with windows xp on bootcamp.
the mouse works great with the mac, the new scroll feature works brilliantly.
2 downsides to this mouse.
the first is its compatibility with windows. although apple have now started creating support so it does work now, its a bit laggy and slow to respond at times. this will probably be resolved soon.
the second is there is no expos'e feature like the mighty mouse. would have been great if they could have included the "show all windows" option on this mouse somehow.
otherwise, a brilliant mac product that mac users should definitely consider!

I have been using this mouse for over month now and I must say I can't live without it. OSX might be the best OS out there but it is extremely fun to use it because of this mouse.
You can set it up for right click just like any other mouse out there. The entire surface being touch sensitive makes it easy to use. With simple gesture you can move back and forward with single swipe of finger. Do it with two fingers and you can move from one desktop to another.

This mouse is especially handy when you doing photo re-touching. Moving through library in iPhoto or Bridge is again done with single swipe of finger.

I haven't used this mouse for gaming so can't say much about the use of it for gaming. Another thing is its battery like. You have to get in the habit of switching it off when not using otherwise you lose the battery in no time.

All in all, I would recommend this mouse to anyone on any day (except gamers!!)
