As I prefer to use a conventional mouse with my lap top I purchased the Belkin Wireless Comfort Optical Mouse. This mouse was the simplest wireless item I have ever used.; - out of the packet, in with the supplied batteries then plug in the dongle - mouse working.
The mouse even has a neat storage facility which allows you to carry the lap top around with the mouse attached to the dongle. I liked it so much that I have ordered another one for my other computer.
I bought this for my laptop, which I connect to the TV then bought the mouse with the idea of being able to laze on the sofa...not so! The mouse turns itself of after 5 minutes of inactivity, then you have to get up and re-sync it with the usb dongle every time you turn it back on. If you are using it at a desk where the usb dongle is to hand then it is a good mouse.
