I bought this in submission to shopping around on all the big tech sites for about an hour and not finding anything I thought met my needs.
It's very firm, well manufactured with crisp keystrokes and brilliantly shaped keys. Fairly low-profile keys with big, wide plateaus. It has a very compact form factor for a fully-featured keyboard, even the box it came in was smaller than my G15.
Media keys are exactly what you'd expect, running Ubuntu 12.04 they work in the exact way you would expect.
This isn't a brilliant keyboard "for the money", it's just a brilliant keyboard. I already prefer it to my G15, for which I put out about 70GBP.
