Belkin PS2/USB Keyboard / Mouse Adapter

I bought the PS/2-to-USB adapter in the hope that my PS/2 keyboard would work on my non-PS/2 equipped laptop. If that failed then I was hoping it might work with my XBox.

Neither of them recognise the device - what a waste of money. On the back of the package, it recommended something with product number: f5u119eae

Perhaps that might prove to be more useful than this simple throughput device.

Got an adapter like this a while back. These are only ment to be used for things that are already supplied with them. Otherwise they do not have the right signal to be a usb item. Really only a replacement item then a converting item. You need a lead with a converter on it- look for items that say "usb to ps2 converter" not adapter- belken and startech do one.

This device will only work with USB compatible devices. So far the only compatible devices that I can find have USB plugs in them!!!

My laptop and desktop PC did not detect the USB , my laptop said that it was malfunctioning ,
AVOID!
