I love this. I love 'unreal' racing games...those that are fun and not too realistic; so force feedback is not for me. This is though...it's simplicity itself to use, robust, easy to adjust to get to the position you prefer, great fun to use and pretty nice to look at too. And being completely wireless is just perfect.
I'm reloving old games with an all new driving experience and buying up many new games to continue my enjoyment as a born again racer.
This is officially my most favourite boy toy.
I got this wheel for gran turismo 5 and its been great. It gives that extra edge to the game. If your not bothered about force feedback then i would recommend this product. It is very sturdy and has the added bonus of being wireless.
This is a study design which has brought a new lease of life into my NFS Shift on the PS3.
It is easy to set up and provides that extra comfort as you can adjust it suite any environment. I have used wheels clamped to the desks and pedals on the floor and prefer this solution even without the force feedback.
The build quality and materials used in the Thrustmaster Ferrari Wireless GT Cockpit 430 Scuderia Edition are quality which helps get into the game more. My wife even likes this.
I cannot wait to try this with GT5.
There are cheaper wheels and pedals out there but I would recommend the cockpit edition as it looks and feels like pure class and adds that realism.
