Turtle Beach X12 Gaming Headset (PC / Xbox 360)

I absolutely love online gaming and get frustrated with the headset that came with the xbox, its flimsy and you cant have the tv on too loud as it disturbs the rest of the family. I wanted to be able to listen to loud game play and speak to the other gamers at the same time, I bought these from argos but they are cheaper with play.com. Firstly they are very robust and the build quality is very good. The headphones are extremely comfortable indeed, possibly the most comfortable I have ever used. You can adjust the game play and chat sounds separately which is great. They also have a bass boost toggle so you can increase or decrease the boost to your liking. The sound is absolutely awesome and I was really surprised as they are low to mid range value. I really felt like I was at the cinema, every deep sound bellowed through the speakers and you can hear sounds coming from all around including subtle noises. Overall a very good set of headphones for the price and well worth a purchase. I have listened to headphones costing over 100 pounds and these really do sound just as good.

This is honestly my first ever review of a product usually i dont because i dont think it means much but for the beaches i will take the time. I bought the turtle beach x11 almost 2 years ago and they lasted be this long with excellent quality and i only need to change because of my own bad habits breaking them. I ordered the new x12 version since the old set never failed me and i am not dissapointed by far the best headset ive had in this price range the improvements from the old set are significant to warrent a new version and they still deliver the excellent turtle beach quality you love. I am a PC gamer just to clarify these headsets are not just for XBOX users.

I got these for my xbox and the build quality is great!
The sound is crisp and allows you to easily understand people over xbox live.
I also use these for my pc when i am recording my own voice and it works perfectly.

Its a must have!

I'm not exadurating but I am picky about my headphones... Turtle beaches have got to start making headphones for casual use. These are monstourously good. I love thebass contol settings as they can be changed according to your playstyle. It offers very crisp highs and a deep, rich bass that i'm astounded by. If you are a gamer, dont even think about getting these. Buy it. I have been using these to play music through my pc and its absolutely brilliant. the x12s really deliver in sound quality. Finally the robust feel and build means here probably going to last you a while. astounding!

I have been with the turtle beaches for a long time and they have never failed me i started off with the x1's! yes they were so fricken awesome!! and then actually waited a very long time till i upgraded too the x11 and never looked back they are the worlds comfiest headset with such great sound quality knowing on CoD where players where coming from there footsteps and even reloading! The x12 are an upgrade and are so amazing for the value! guys dont miss out on this awesome set of headphones to improve your gaming!!
