After many years of a very arcade-y type joystick. I had spied a picture of the X52. and did my research and decided to get this (the Pro) over the normal one. I absolutely LOVE the HOTAS-ness of it (Hands on throttle and stick).

The main difference is this one has more metal components making supposedly more robust.
The throttle has an adjustable tension knob on the side which gives it a nice feel. There are indentations at 25 and 75% power which require a bit more push to go into the afterburner stage, or bring it back to idle.

The stick is very easy to move. When I first got my hands on it I thought "this is way too loose" but in acutallity it's not floppy, just really easy to move around meaning you can use very delicate inputs with ease.

There are a massive array of buttons and LED's which make it very nice to look at. It works with Windows 7, And feels like it was born to be played with Flight Simulator X. you can download drivers for your operating system from the Saitek website.

Well worth it if you want to give your PC flight simulation that proper feel.
