Much more comfortable (and obviously quieter) than one of those pads with a fan, and seems to stop the problem of overheating when leaving laptop on bed, settee, etc. A good size, the smaller side is more than enough to hold my 15.4"er with a bit of room at the edges. The pockets are tight, but you can just about squeeze a mouse in there. All-in-all an improvement on just having the laptop burning your legs.

Not non-slip. Annoying and largely pointless.

The covering of this thing is a sort of mix between hessian and lycra - and it's about as non-slip as an icy tiled floor sprayed with baby oil. Given that the whole thing is inclined you'd think the whole point is that it stays on. I expected rubber grips like totes or something but nothing just a specially developed material that seems to actively defy friction and grip. Other than that yeah - it's basically a foam box covered in slippy stuff.

I love this, it was well worth a tenner. No problems with a 17" laptop as it has a side for 15" and another side for the 17", you can just flip it over. Keeps your legs nice and cool.

 Top product!

I've had my cushtop for over a year now - and it solved my problem of my Dell XPS shutting down due to over heating, and burning my thigh beforehand.

Its not a cushion, but it is very comfortable for using your laptop for long periods of time. I rarely store anything in it as suggested because things are normally either to small and slide out or is too large and won't jam in!

Those who reviewed it as non-non-slip probably dont have rubber feet on their laptops - a flat plastic base will not grip on the material!

My Dell has 4 rubber feet and coupled with its large 9-cell battery has great grip on the cushtop - probably about 45 degrees before it slides.

I had a mate who laughed at it when I said what i'd bought. Then he used my laptop on it, and immediately ordered himself one!

Cant beat it for the function!

 It works

Although bulky and a tad expensive for a piece of sofa cushion looking upholstery, it really works. Laptop runs much cooler as hot air is disappated through the cushioned top, and your lap remains cool! Space for power adapter is very limited though.
