 Excellent value

I am not a gamer but have enjoyed using the Flight Simulator on Google Earth. Having found control via a mouse not entirely satisfactory I decided to try a joystick. Many I saw offered looked to be over complex for my uses and so settled on this particular one, one of its attractions being the price. My computer runs Vista which picked up the joystick straight away and it was recognised also by the Flight Sim on Google Earth. It functions smoothly and accurately and indeed has more buttons than I need for this basic purpose. The field of view button (hat) is very good and was a facility I hadn't realised I was missing. Makes navigating much easier. The whole experience inspires me to try buying a Flight Sim game, a bit of 'shoot em up' might be fun! All in all this joystick would seem to be excellent value for money. It may be that for a dedicated gamer it will not have enough functions but in all honesty, at the moment, I can't imagine what else might be needed. I would happliy recommend this product.

This is an excellent joystick for the price. I bought it to start flying aircraft in BF2.
It is larger than I expected and sits firmly on the desk. The controls are easy to use and it was detected flawlessly by WinXP.
The only functionality missing is the twist (RZ) axis. The 3 axis mentioned are up/down, left/right and throttle.
