Plantronics GameCom 377 Gaming Headset

Ive had these headphones for around a year now. In that year Ive been less than careful with them and one of the headphones has broken. Instead of going to find something else, Im back here to purchase the same set (Although Im getting the 367 closed cup headphones, due to my neighbour spending hours inexplicably gunning his engine). Ive had over a year of almost nightly use out of them and do not feel cheated by the fact theyve just died at all.

The build quality is superb, the sound quality is far higher than you would expect for the price, the microphone quality is excellent and theyre so comfortable I often forget Im wearing them. The one downside is that theyre ugly as sin, but for the price you cant really complain!

First of all id like to say that they are totally worth the money you pay for them, I mean you will not get a better headset for this price.

Build Quality: 10/10 - What can I say other than the build quality is excellent, Everything that this headset is made from is great quality, and I mean everything, Great wires, connections, materials, everything. This headset will last.

Sound Quality: 7/10 - This is one of the minor problems, The sound quality is good but not great, it sounds a bit dampened / muffled so you dont hear everything in full clarity, also the bass is a little weak for a 40mm driver. I expected more, You can hear everything around you, including the voice chat of your team-mates It just feels a little lacking in parts, BUT you have to remember the price of the headset, and for what I payed the sound quality you get is well worth it.

Comfort: 6/10 - This is the main problem I have with the headphones, when you look at the headphones you would imagine they would be very comfortable, but I found myself moving and adjusting the headphones around for a long time before I actualy got them to sit comfortably, The problem they have is that the ear cups are so big that your ear just ends up touching the plastic rather than the cushion, which causes discomfort, and if your wondering, I have rather small ears, so I imagine this problem would be even worse for somebody with larger ears.

I gave this product a 4 star but It would of been a 3 star if it wasnt for the amazing build quality.

I still recommend this headset for somebody wanting a cheap but good headset. but if you are wanting a more comfortable headset then id be thinking about paying a bit more for a "better" headset

I bought these to replace the small flimsy headset that comes free with the Xbox 360 console. After doing some research online, I learnt that you can use PC headsets (such as these) with an Xbox 360, by using a converter attachment (which I bought separately, also from Play.com). I haven't used them with my PC yet, but with my Xbox they've been amazing. I can hear people much more loudly and clearly than before. People also no longer have any problems hearing me. I have read reviews elsewhere, where people have mentioned them being tight on their head. I haven't found this to be the case and find them to be very comfortable, with nice soft comfy ear cups :p. The mic boom folds up into the headband when not in use, which is handy for if you want to use the headset as a regular pair of headphones. These are a great step up from the headset provided with the 360 console and make playing online even more enjoyable, and as these are open ear headphones, you can still hear the game sounds from the TV while you're wearing them. I can't recommend these enough. Just remember, if you want to use these with an Xbox, you'll have to buy an adapter separately :)

When i bought it the price was 17.99 at the checkout which is different than shown,and thats all I paid. It is very comfortable and the mic is really good too. This is my 5th PC headset and so far it is the best and one of the cheaper ones i've bought. I would recommend this headset to everyone from the average music listener to a die hard gamer.

This is a very good head set mic is gr8 and sound is good :) you dont need to spend over £100 on a gaming head set get this one
