 Brilliant Joystick

This joystick is really good. Excellent responsiveness, comfortable to use and best of all no wires! It is very stable as it only has three points of contact so it will happily sit even on an uneven surface.

It comes with the 3 AA batteries required (Duracell), so no hunting for the right number or type before use.

The software that comes with it is out of date (unless of course you are still using older versions of Windows (XP, 2000, Me & 98). [This is my only reason for only four stars.] Strangely in the UK Logitech don't seem to recognise the "Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick" so either pretend you are in the US or do a search for the "LGS" software (currently version 5.08) and make sure you choose a 32 or 64 bit installation. This software can then be used to configure the controls per game or application.

In the UK you can't register this joystick, it's just not an option, so choose USA and it will now be in the list. I can't see it should be too much of a problem as you will supply your email address for correspondence. A zip code of '12345' seemed to work too.
