When i upgraded to this, playing games like portal 2 and the sims 3 was perfect, this is the best starting upgrade from a integrated card. one down side is with full screen video you get the occasional graphic glitch but there so small its not a main issue
Bought this as a replacement graphics card for an old (5+ Yrs?) Dell Dimension 5000 system running XP, which died when the original graphics card gave up the ghost. Needed a PCI-Express card that would work with 300W PSU and WinXP - and this fitted the bill nicely. Better spec than the original card and for less than 20 quid an absolute bargain which has resurrected my old faithful machine and saved me forking out for a whole new system. Installation was increadibly simple - took less than half an hour in total.
Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the 2 additional 'mini' end plates was missing from the box. Not a problem for me as I only need the factory fitted longer configuration anyway - but if I did need the 2x smaller end-plate configuration then I would have been disappointed.
Overall though - a fantastic little graphics card for the price.
Very impressed with the quality, i needed to keep costs down for a friends upgrade and this has done the job. It is well worth the money.
After buying the card I was delighted with how easy the installation and setup was. I had only bought the card so I could use my PC through my Television and for under 18 quid the HDMI connectivity didn't disappoint. The bonus came when I rigged the HDMI cable through my Surround sound system and it also pumps out crystal clear 5.1 digital audio straight out of the packet!
