This worked a treat, when upgraded from 1gb to 2gb with this, in the new hp mini 110-3610, netbook much faster now. appears to be fully compatible.Windows 7 starter.
If you have above netbook this is what you need. Below is what hp recomended instead.

I bought this as I already had Kingston memory in my new laptop and wanted to get a close as possible match. The specs of this are the same as the existing memory all though the board looks visually different "less chips" but I'm pleased to say works great. My system now tells me I have 4gb of ram although I can't say I can tell if there is any difference?
For anyone with a HP Compaq cq56 102sa this memory will work. Don't waste your time calling tech support as this is a dis-continued laptop "Five months old I must add" and they do not have any spec details, which made finding this memory very difficult.
Well done play for offering outstanding value on a big brand name!
