Kingston KTA-MB667/2G 2GB DDR2 SODIMM Upgrade For Apple iMac / MacBook

At this price (£28) it's a bargain. This memory is a perfect upgrade for the Asus EEE; it's a 30 second job to replace the 512Mb RAM with this replacement 2Gb memory. Although subjective, I have found the the EEE to run more smoothly. It's certainly better when loading multiple applications; I'm running Office 2007 and can switch instantly between Word, Excel and Power point when they are loaded simultaneously. Just remember to reconfigure you paging file on the EEE or your C drive may suddenly fill up after upgrading the RAM; I've completely removed my paging files to no ill effect.

upgraded my 1gb macbook with two of these, to take it to 4gb. thanks to OS X, the whole 4gb is utilised and the macbook runs superbly. can't fully compare it to how it was before, as i ordered these sticks the same day i ordered the macbook. installing was simple, and was recognised instantly.
shame macbooks only run 667mhz clocked ram, but still, it does the job. and its cheaper now than when i bought it, so you really oughtta jump now.

What can i say about it? It's very cheap on here, especially for the brand and size, on Crucial you would pay £32.89 (without P&P) saving you around a fiver
I received the RAM well wrapped, maybe a little to much used - a bit of a waste, but all is good!
I bought one of these to add to my iMac 20", making it 3GB with the 1GB already installed. It was recognized instantly by Mac OS X, and made everything a whole lots faster :)

Fantastic RAM. Stuck in a 20" 2.4 iMac, it makes things a lot faster, and it's somewhat cheaper than Apple charge for 1gb.

I bought this to upgrade my new MacBook3,1 to 3GB. All I can say is wow! The difference is amazing, things run quicker boot times are down. I have just ordered another 2GB stick to max me out at 4GB.... I wonder if the MacBook is dual channel??
