Runs even faster than the 1066mhz advertised speed. I have mine running at 1100mhz at 5 5 5 15. The people giving bad reviews on this havent got a clue about setting up their rams with appropriate voltages etc.
Well, I'm no stranger to either overclocking or HyperX ram having owned the faster DDR2-800 kit before that runs the same VDimm but at 800MHz (the timings are a blazing 3, 3, 3, 10) and I ran that at 1T in a Biostar TF7025M2 until it failed and was replaced VERY quickly by Kingston.
This RUBBISH 4GB kit I bought on offer for 59.99 Sterling and it not only arrived with a broken security seal but won't even let my PC begin loading windows running at the advertised 5, 5, 5, 15 2T, 1066MHz and 2.3VDimm that I set it at! Kingston now seems to have some issue with replacing this JUNK and I believe that it's because this is merely "Value"ram with oversized heatspreaders and NOT quality ram like they used to make.
Personally I shall NEVER return to buying Kingston products again. I've had enough of my time wasted over this supposed HyperX ram; goodbye Kingston, it was good while you made decent ram but now OCZ, Crucial, Mushkin and COUNTLESS others are making far superior products and charging less for it. I'll refrain from swearing at you...but I'm finding it VERY hard to contain my rage o_O
