This is almost a cross between a laptop and a netbook, the 11.6" screen is a dream and is high resolution which you will appreciate over the standard netbook resolution a 10.1" screen.
My version came with Windows 7 Home Premium and the 6 cell battery option (not Vista is displayed here). Managed to snag this at the sale price so very pleased with purchase.
Keyboard is very good and large which means it required no 'getting used to' to type properly, like I had to with my old netbook.
Runs quickly on windows 7 - it's no powerhouse, but I'd definitely recommend getting this over an Intel Atom netbook any day.
Ideal for travelling, Youtube and iPlayer work well with no stuttering. This is probably due to the more advanced GPU chipset in this unit.
People say the touchpad is a concern - but it is easily disabled and I personally like it. It's the same one as on the Mini 10.
My only two (minor) concerns are that it doesn't have a Caps Lock LED indicator - very trivial I know. But there is alot of wasted space in the power button area where such things could easily have been placed.
My other concern is that to access the F1-F12 buttons you have to press the Fn key as well - it uses the media keys by default (like on the Apple Macbook) - but this is also reversible so if you use the function keys a lot like me, don't worry.
