This is a top of the range router and it does work with xbox live, all routers accept cable connections.
The only reason this shouldnt work with xbox live would be because your live account is at fault.
If you want a really good router then this is the one.

Looks good but can some 1 tell me if it needs a cablr brodband or is it run off a phone line.
