Following the success of Acer's Aspire One A series which fast became the world's most popular netbook, the D series now improves on this winning formula with increased performance from Intel's Atom N270 processor and a larger 10.1" CrystalBrite widescreen display.

With a larger 89% size keyboard and newly redesigned front track pad buttons the D250 makes typing emails and internet browsing pain-free.
Widescreen 10.1" Screen for broader vision and convenient navigation
The new 10.1" WSVGA high-brightness LED backlit display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels offers a sharp display. With CrystalBrite technology it uses an ultra-fine, highly polished coating to achieve superior filtering and enable quicker image building as well as minimising reflection from internal and external light sources.
Integrated on top of the screen is an Acer Crystal Eye webcam which is optimized for poorly lit environments by using a high sensitivity camera. This lets you see your friends and family using instant messaging video chats.
Acer have introduced multi-gesture functionality to the Aspire One that transforms navigation into a simple, natural movement of the hand and fingers.
A simple circular finger-swirl motion lets you scroll up - or down - web pages, documents or playlists. Pinching lets you zoom in and out of the applications you use the most while swiping two fingers horizontally lets you flick through photos, web pages, documents or media albums.
Connectivity wherever you are
Whether at home, in a coffee shop or on the road, stay informed and in touch via wired, wireless or 3G connectivity options. The D250 features an Ethernet and three USB ports as standard as well as Wifi 802.11b/g with Acer Signal Up technology which enhances wireless signal by optimising the location of the antenna on the netbook allowing you to stay connected further from the Wifi base station and with stronger reception.
Selected models feature Bluetooth 2.0 allowing you to connect to a whole host of Bluetooth enabled devices. There is also the option of 3G connectivity so that you can access the internet from wherever your mobile connection allows.
