I purchased this usb drive some time ago to replace my old 4gb device. Capacity wise, I now have 2-3 thousand digital camera images on the device with around 2gb free. The drive fits nicely onto my key ring, taking a battering every day with no issues at all. The device is an absolute bargain and very well recommended.
I have waited for a long time - a year, before I wrote this review.
Some say these never last.
However, mine is used to transfer thousands of songs every week from a PC to Laptop. It still works, just as fast.
This is one of the best products I have bought from play.com for value for money. It may not have a light or a keyring fob but the transfer rate is excellent. Small and very air-tight so even if you do happen to get it wet or heaven forbid put it through the wash it may just survive!
Very durable and recommended.
i have to say i normaly say how amaing play.com items are but honestly this was a brillant usb stick at first but then i come downs stairs in the morning and stick it in my pc and nothing :O tryed it in 3 diffrent pc and still nothing got it to open after about a hour so i could format it and still nothing its completly dead :( not the best i would reconmend that little bit extra on a beter make hope this helps in your desicion :)
I saw all the amazing reviews thinking this would be a really good product, but, so far, it hasn't lived up to the expectations. When the package arrived, (the box was ridiculously too big for such a small item anyway), I took it to my computer straight away. However, when I plugged it in, it didn't show up in Windows Explorer. I then tried it on another computer, and it didn't show up there either. I am now left feeling absolutely gutted, and am going to send it back after making sure it wasn't just my system which it wasn't as I have checked on a further 3 computers. NOT very happy... unless someone can tell me why this has happened, and then I will endeavour to change my review. Until then, I am going to be left feeling extremely peeved.
