 extremely slow

Sandisk is a reliable brand and this product looks nice and neat but the write speed on these flash drives is extremely slow,it's the slowest I've ever seen and becomes very annoying when you try to copy files to/from them.
Avoid!

Overall this memory stick is great I ordered it from play.com on 3rd Jan at 8.99 and this is a great price as everywhere else i looked it was priced at 12.00+ so the 10.99 price at the moment is good also i think that its a great memory stick as it also has the online storage and security included my advice to you is BUY IT you wont regret it!!!!!

Sandisk Cruzer Limited Edition 8GB Formatting to NTFS

Bought 3 Sandisk CruzerLimited Edition , and received them promptly. However, when I first tried to Load them and start using The SecureAccess feature, I was totally lost as to how to go about all this. No Instructions, ok, the Video is good, but if you are new to Sandisk SecureAccess Software, God Help you, he didn't help me though, for I struggled over 1 hour to suss it out, but TO NO AVAIL. God, however, did send someone nicknamed:'Alucard2006' WHO wrote an extensive comment on how to format this type of Sandisk USB Flash Drive from its DEFAULT FAT32 to NTFS., thus enabling me to use this as a USB-DRIVE with SANDISK SECURE ACCESS SOFTWARE. So, A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU 'Alucard2006', cause I had read your comment prior to my ordering the SANDISK thinking "It will come in handy" when I receive my order. AND BY GOD , IT DID. Thanks. Very small in size extremely light.
Only suit the users who will back up small office docs. Super slow writing speed like really slow. I had to get a new usb all together.

 Horribly SLOW

Id stay away from this USB. Im not sure how they get away with calling it USB 2.0 compatible, this stick is horribly slow.

Its read and write speeds are dreadful. I cant put into words how bad they are!

On the plus side, if you dont mind waiting 4 hours for it to transfer a 700mb movie or the fact that even the Xbox 360 wont pass it as it doesnt meet performance recommendation as a memory card... This represents great value for money!

Seriously... Stay Away.

 Clumsy me, awesome hard-drive

Nice wee Flash-drive. 16Gb for 13pounds, and this thing is tiny. Only problem is the number of times I've left it in Uni computers, but that is pretty much just my stupidity.

HAD 1 B4 FANTASTIC!!! IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!

This is a lovely product, very small and sleek and the build quality and style are both excellent. Unfortunately the write speed is just FAR too slow. If you're going to regularly write large files to this, maybe look at another model.

Even survived a full washing machine cycle!

lol... don't try it at home... it is so small that i've managed to leave it in my pocket whilst it was going through a complete wash cycle in the washing machine... took it out, shake it a bit, and it continued to work (not that I would recommend giving it a wash every so often) :)

 not so secure

i have used sandisc for years, brought this one because of the vault ! im used to using there U3 system a bit slow but dose the job, this one looked good because of the ability to use secure file system and an open side for free use as i use multiple pc's with tec notes other people need access to. well this system has a big floor ! it stores the access cert on the open side of the drive so if this is deleted accident, the system asks for a new password and all you data is gone.
