I wasent expecting so much from such little and fairly cheap speakers but they are absolutely brilliant. I used them on my iphone, my laptop and even my xbox 360 while I played battlefield 3. Overall I am really happy.

Ace How do they do so much with such small speakers?!

I was expecting a decent sound from these things, because creative are kings of sound quality, but however I was aware that they are small (2" cones and 5" for the sub) and only 25Watts so I wasn't expecting the result I was greeted with!
Paired up with my pc's Creative X-Fi Sound card, these speakers sound sublime, The Bass is very apparent and thunders through the floor and desk, the trebble is sharp and accurate and the vocals are crystal.
A few things worth noting are that there is no headphone socket (not a problem if your pc has a front panel output though.) and the other point is that there is volume dial for the subwoofer located at the back of it, which is very useful if you want to lower the bass for night viewing ect.

In conclusion, if you need a set of compact but decent sounding speakers, look no further than these, trust me I've used others from Logitech and Yamaha and niether sounded as good as these even though the yamaha had a 6" sub and 30Watts RMS. Nice one Creative :)

  POWER

I simply cannot believe the power of these things, they are incredible. To say they're abit loud is such a massive understatement! Build quality is fantastic aswell, they're built like tanks. Like most PC speakers they're really easy to set up, and the little volume control bit seems a lot better than the ones you usually get. Why only 4 stars you ask then? Well, when you really start to crank up the volume the satellite speakers become abit high pitched in tone, a seperate treble control knob might have been a nice feature, but for normal home use you don't need them up anywhere near that loud, trust me! I previously bought the Logitech LS2.1 speakers, which were perfectly ample for home use, but now I have these I can definetly see where the extra money goes! I strongly recommend you go abit deeper into your wallet to get these speakers over cheaper alternatives.
