At first I was a little disappointed with this headset. Never owning on-ears before I found it hard to fit right.

Once I got them fitted properly, the sound quality is excellent for the price. There are no sharp highs associated with low end headphones and they have a solid mid to upper bass response. As they are not sealed around your ear you do loose the lower low end. Overall they have a very "pleasing" sound which is good for long stints at the keyboard.

The soft pads don't give you ear ache nor make your head TOO hot which is nice.

the braided cable doesn't conduct sound too much and you cant hear anything rubbing against is more than 30cm down the chord.

One problem I did find was that they have a tendency of sliding off my head if I look up or down too far.

I haven't tested the mic yet so i can't comment on that.

Overall, Very pleased so far.

  Well worth the price

Bought this item on sale (ten pounds) and you get far more than you bargained for, the cord is fabric wrapped for durability though this can attract dirt if you eat at the pc when gaming etc. The mic is very sturdy with a metal housing on the wire holding its shape and position far better than alternatives with a rubber casing. The headphones themselves are fairly comfortable, there isn't much padding at first glance but when wearing them you realise they really don't need more as they are very soft. The headband is wide and surprisingly soft in texture (not the shiny plastic or pleather you normally see), though it isn't padded the materials used are very light and do not press into the head at all. Not my cup of tea for music listening but for gaming and skype chat they are ideal. At the current price I've bought a spare pair to keep on hand :)

  Great Product

The sound quality is excellent, better than expected and crystal clear. The microphone is good quality and had been working fine for me for some time. Recently, the headset has been making a buzzing sound whilst I have the microphone plugged in, I'm not sure whether this is a one off or hardware is easily ruined. The thing that ruins it for me is that it is very uncomfortable to wear, I've been using it for near 3 months and my ears still ache after using them for a lengthy time period due to the fact that there is such a small amount of foam padding.
