I have had one of these for quiite some time and it is nearly perfect for the job I got it for, as a compact storage item that goes anywhere. Now I carry my laptop in a sleeve and this drive in my handbag and off I go. Very simple, plug it in and backup your work anywhere. I get fast access to my work, it's quiet, hasn't over heated, and is reliable!
I bought this western digital product in July. The original was defective. I returned the item to WD, as they requested. WD supplied a replacement. Problem solved, I thought. No chance. The replacement was also defective. I contacted WD,who again offered a replacement. I asked for a refund. After about 1 month, several emails,several phone calls. They have offered a refund. Unfortunately its only for 45 pounds. The item originally cost 73 pounds.Avoid these cowboys!!!!!
