Sony BDX-S500U 6x Blu-ray Writer External USB Slim Drive

I have wrote a review earlier for this item but for some reason it was not put on the web-site so will try again...
The drive itself is small and compact which makes a great space-saver and easy to carry around.The disc tray does feel quite flimsy so I always keep one hand on the bottom of it whilst inserting a disc on to the tray.It uses one USB port and also uses a power cable, I know that some other Drives use 2 USB ports rather than a power cable but I much prefer this style, it may mean it is not as portable as others but I did not buy it to move it from place to place, I bought it primarily as a 3D Blu-Ray player to watch on my TV via Laptop.
The software that comes with it (Cyberlink Suite 8) does it's job perfectly although at the beginning I did have some issues with it but I discovered that the software included is not compatible with some virtual hard drive software I had installed, so after that was uninstalled I had no problems at all.
It comes with 1 blank Blu-Ray disc which I had no problems burning to, have since bought more blank Blu-Ray discs from play.com and have had no coasters at all, have burned DVD and CD discs and all worked fine.
Over all, this is a nice piece of kit, I did buy it when it was in a sale so I got it at a much cheaper price than it is now, however I have found it to be reliable and a great little player/burner.
I use an HP Pavilion Laptop, i7 processor running w7 premium.
