Can't fault this drive - lightweight, reliable.easy to use.It comes with a formatting guide on the drive. I am using mine with the Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player . Have now purchased a second one.

Item arrived this morning, I have backed up my whole laptop on to it, heaps of space left. Looks great, is silent and transfers relatively quickly. Only downer I can think of is it didnt come with a case, i think it needs a case to protect the piano black finish. All in all very happy! x

Very compact, pretty stylish, almost silent, never gets hot, quick enough, reliable so far and cheap with it.

It would be hard to think of any way to improve this drive. I have seen a few criticisms elsewhere but I don't agree with any of them. The LED is easily visible when plugged in the cable is just the right length. I have used the drive for a couple of weeks including some major transfers which went quickly and trouble free. Drive works on Windows XP and 7 and Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 with no problems.

The only drives I could find cheaper had separate power supplies (AC) but this is a truly portable drive which easily fits into a pocket.

 EXCELLENT!!

I bought this external hard drive a couple of months ago and it's one of the best buys I've done from this site. It's very easy to use. No problems with transferring data and it does it quickly. Not a sound from it and more than all, it's so small that you don't even realise you're carrying it around unless you have to use it. Only criticism is that the USB cable is rather short. So for someone who doesn't have a laptop (like myself) it can be an inconvenience. Luckily I have another longer cable that I have exchanged it for. Overall: a pocket-size rocket of an external hard drive.
