Really good, you can set it up in minutes, and it doesn't do a bad job at all. Not quite HD, if it was i'd have given 5 stars. Worth the money.

This is a great upgrade from my previous capture card, the AVerMedia EZMaker USB Gold and is well worth the money, fair enough its not PVR quality but i paid half the price so to be honest i didnt expect that sort of quality.

All in all, easy to set up and runs nicely on my 2.2Ghz, 2GB Ram, Win 7 computer, no lag situations only the normal capture amount which is expected.

The cables supplied are nice quality too and the card doesn't take up a great deal of room either, nice and discreet.

If anyone want a high quality, cheap capture card, this is definitely the one to get, A*******

Good Bit Of Kit For The Price

Ok so i had be in two minds about getting this after seeing some of the reviews left about it but i took the risk and it has definatly paid off! Very easy to set up comes with all the leads appart from one, you need to buy the HD component cable. After pluging it in and installing the softwear i turned it on only to find the recording screen flickering realy bad but a quick fiddle in the options/setting and cchanging the tv standard to NTSC_M or PAL_M it was fine.

Have been recording in 720p (Although not the best looking 720p) and iploading things to youtube easily, all my videos so far are here if you want to see the quality - youtubecom/S1minIIuk, but considering a HD PVR is about 150 quid and Roxio is about 50-60 quid its very good for the money i mean an extra 80 quid just for a bit more quality for a HD PVR, not realy worth it.

There is a little decrease in quality on the tv when your playing through the component cable but its hardly anything and when recording the file size of the video is pretty small i recorded dead island lastnight for 3 and a half hours and the file size came to 4.3GB and a 20min game of fifa came to 540MB.

The video editor is quite good, its nothing amazing but good enough for cuting and adding music or comentary and it doesnt freeze like others i have tried

Overall this is a good capture card, dont expect flawless quality but you can expect it to be good for the money.

needs alot of power to capture in SD not HD

I had to upgrade two PC's, one running on XP and the other running vista just to get this to work. Overall a disappointing result for alot of upgrading as your better off with the more expensive Hauppauge HD PVR from play.

Main problem is this usb component capture device is vague on how much is required, I found it needs a higher spec than the Hauppauge which captures in 1080i and 720p while the Roxio captures just SD or 520i standard definition but passes through component HD, even with a 256mb graphics card, 2 gb ram, 200gb hdd and the results where flickery compared to any other device.

Not great but not bad

This device is kool and I found it easy to use wiring it up was a snap and even if you find the image on the screen a bit fuzzy after tinkering with the setting I was up and running ready to capture my games thank Roxio.
