This is a great little monitor. No speakers or height adjustment but Vivid and quite acceptable for movies, even though colour fade is a little "blocky"
It should be mentioned this IS a 16:9 monitor. It's primary use is movies not desktop apps. 21.5" widescreen is therefore 10.5" high and not 11.75" high like other 22" widescreens.

I bought this monitor for a new PC build, and I'm very pleased with it. I do a fair amount of photo editing (photoshop CS4), so I was keen to buy a monitor with good contrast and colour reproduction, but on a bugdet. This does the job perfectly.

Blacks are nice and deep, colours very vivid, and the settings menu lets you play around with everything until you're happy: e.g. contrast, brightness, sharpness, custom RGB levels, as well as some preset 'picture modes', most of which are over-blown and best avoided if you ask me. The monitor itself looks good, with a nice gloss finish and (so far...) good build quality.

My only criticisms are: 1) it sometimes seems a little harsh in the transition between colours, e.g. out-of-focus areas in image backgrounds can look every so slightly stepped rather than smooth. 2) brightness is far too high by default. I've actually set brightness to zero and it's about right for me!

These two problems are very minor. Overall, a great value product.
