I was having terrible trouble with my wired internet connection. Our main phone socket is in the living room and our computer is in the dining room. We had a second socket running off the main one connected by extension lead,this has been braking down with constant loss of internet. I have now moved router into living room on the main phone socket, bought this dongle to try wireless connection. Have to say, it works brilliantly. No loss of internet connection and no loss of speed,if anything it is faster. Easy to set up, cant recommened this product enough !!!!
Bought after reading some good reviews about item. Arrived in packaging with Trixes sticker on but item unbranded. Plugged in and Win7 recognised straight away. Much stronger signal than my Netgear WG111T and does not keep crashing. Very glad I bought.
This wireless adaptor slows your internet down to a snails pace. Im not stupid so wasn't expecting the same as with a wired connection but its just so slow. Wired I was getting about 7mbps but now only 1.6mbps.
I am about 10 foot MAX away from the router but constantly disconnects and reconnects. Spend a little more money and experience something better than dial up quality internet.
