I wanted a 'large' screen tablet to fit my budget. I wanted to watch movies on a quality screen , view my favourite websites and update my blog and social sites on the go. For all of the above the Tablet 8000 was perfect. Touch-screen is also very responsive as expected for a capacitive screen. I would recommend this device.
Hi Well where do i start i can't say i was pleased with this its slow on the internet when trying to access website plays video gooe but the sound is that low its next to useless all i can say if you need a table you pay for whay you get ..........one more thing the usb1 socket won't work i'd send it back but i threw the box away ....and they could have put a stand on it to watch films but hey its cheap .............
The DISGO 8000 10.1 tablet is not a bad gadget. But then again it is not that good either. Looks wise it looks quite stylish. It is nice and thin too. But the fact that can't watch iPlayer stuff on there is a major downfall. There are other downfalls which other reviewers have also mentioned and most of these can be over come. Oh yes. One of the other really annoying things is the appalling sound level. Even at full you can hardly hear anything. This is my first venture into the tablet world and there is a strong argument to begin on this lower budget version. It is cheap as chips compared to the iPad. However, if you go down this road it could have a teminal effect on your desire to use tablets. As for me I am undecided yet as to whether I NEED a tablet after buying this one. Handy for some of the apps which the kids play on. Maybe I should have bought an iPad?
I've given it 1 star because I didn't really have any time to test the features on it, as it broke within 2 days of having it. To have this for 2 days and it get stuck on the boot screen, must show it's a really bad product. I wasn't expecting much for a tablet that's this cheap, but I was expecting it to last a bit longer than that. Maybe I just got the bad one out of the batch, but when a product has problems that fast, I have a real hard time trusting the manufacturer and any products they supply.
My advice would be to fork out that extra bit to get a tablet that you know is going to be worth it. Hope this review helps. Peace!
