I was amased to see these only having 3 out of 5 stars, what more can people want that these memory stick don't offer, huge memory, there quick, solid, and do exactly what there supposed to do, I have just ordered my 5th one of these, so if these are only 3 out of 5, what am I missing?????

these are the best quality memory stick I have ever used, 3 out of 5 yeah right, im giving it a 5, they don't deserve any less than full marks.

I recommened these to anyone.

  Just What I Needed

| | See all TheGreenHorde's reviews (3)

For the price I thought this wee device was excellent value. I use it to transfer music and movies and pictures between devices. I've no issues witht eh speed of transfer, in fact I normally transfer multiple items at once. Granted this slows it slightly but I go and do something else for 5 minutes and come back to teh transfer completed. Ideal as long as you're not looking to rush out in 30seconds or use it like a Spy to copy secret data in the blink of an eye.

  Excellent buy

Bought this a few months back and waited to write a review to see if it lasted, To my suprrise it has and I cannot find fault.
The transfer of data is QUICK, and reliable, no data as yet has ever been lost or corrupt.
The item is small and light and is able to attach to your keyring. Plug is in and works straight away. Great product and would definately buy another if needed it.

  cannot fault this

Great in our HDC500 - Good VFM.

Bought one of these based on price per Gig, for use in music system (Cortex HDC500), especially as it was on offer when I got it so even better value for money. Cheers Play.
Yes the write speed seemed pretty much the same as our other usb drives whilst creating the music DataBase, but once in the HDC500 box it loads the DB much faster than from the others. That load speed is important to us so I was pretty pleased with it.
My only gripe about nearly all these dinky little devices is not having a lanyard included (even though a lot say they do or used to - e.g. HP v165w) and not having a cover (unlike the HP v165w which does) to put on the business end for protection. Come on guys - Sandisk; Verbatim; etc. - listen up.

  Just Perfect for me!

I bought this tiny device with hesitation due to looking at the other reviews. The device comes with security software installed on it and lots of other files. I deleted all its contents as I thought the security on it was no use to me.
I have seen others write about how slow the transfer speed is, and thought I would test this, I transferred a few folders with multiple documents in each, and it was instantaneous. Although the files were word documents/ presentations etc.
However I did try it with large media files..... such as my video folder which was around 8GB, It said estimated time was 26 mins... then changed to 30 mins... :(

So overall it's brilliant if you want it for storing word documents/ presentations/excel files etc, but not good for transferring media or rather, large amounts of media at one time :/

Hope this helps!!

  Big space but slow speed.

| | See all Reegus's reviews (15)

Bought this Sandisk 32GB and for the price this is cheap, has a lot of space but as said on previous reviews this has a slow writing speed.

However if you are like me and bought this usb for home and general use and not for business where write/read speed is not important than this is a good buy.

I gave 3* because of read/write speed which is slow.

Good value and loads of space!

These are tiny in size but big on memory with about 29.7GB available for use. OK the write speed is relatively slow , if you are writing a huge amount in one go, but once loaded up with your files these beasts work fine.It depends on what you need the USB memory for. For general everyday file access I recommend these as so much can be carried around. Beware, carry this on a lanyard, as they are easy to misplace. Great value!
