Brillent product. it survived going through a number of washes as id lost it for about a week. Only downside with the size is in the fact it is so small you really have to keep an eye on it lol.

Transfer rates fine only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is you cant use it as a bootable drive for linux or other OS's as it doesnt power up until your in a OS.

These things are small !!
I don't know about tablets, but for a netbook or laptop with limited memory these are ideal for the price. Depending upon the exact design you can pretty much fit and forget these. You actually struggle to pull it out on my Dell laptop as the usb port is partially inset, and it almost disappears inside.
The only drawback is that it isn't the fastest for data transfer but I guess you need usb 3.0 for that these days.

Very well built, small and cheap for a 16Gig unit. Read/write is a bit slower than my other HP 16Gig units. The SanDisk SecureAccess Software is not that brilliant. The hole for the lanyard thread (no lanyard is supplied) is very small and tight to fit through (would be better if it came with lanyard fitted). As its so small the risk of loosing it is high, so I definitely recommend some sort of identifiable visible attachment to it. When plugged in can hardly notice its presence visually - bit fidgety to pull it out as its micro sized so pull/push with care - in fear of snapping off the pastic cover.
All-in-all a great unit and would still highly recommend it to anyone who needs a 16Gig device. Another great unit added to my collection.
