  Very Disappointed

I have bought 4 of these for putting movies on from my i-tunes library to watch through the usb port of a bluray player.
I had no problems with the first 2 so i bought another 2, one before christmas and one 2 weeks ago, what a nightmare, the first keeps corrupting and losing data, the second worked for a week then packed up, and now one of the earlier purchases is playing up, not impressed at all.

I loved this memory stick. It is pretty small, but huge in capacity and it worked beautifully - that is until i knocked it against a table and it snapped in two quite easily...
If you want something sturdy, I would recommend something else, but if you're not worried about that then this is perfect :)

Great memory stick for a good price. Good transfer rate very compact. Use it very regularly and still works great.

  max file size

| | See all Craggsypottomus's reviews (6)

the maximum file size you are encountering is due to the file system you have your flash drive formatted too. FAT32 format only allows for a maximum of 4gb to be transferred. To overcome this you need to compress larger files using .rar's.

  Excellent value

To add to the previous review, the 4Gb limit is imposed by the FAT32 file system, not by the drive. Just reformat it as NTFS and the problem is solved.

  4gb limit

| | See all RebornNetwork's reviews (7)

To the person who noted the 4gb file limit this is a FAT32 format limit. Format the drive as NTFS to store bigger files (note: not all devices support reading/writing to ntfs format)

  Almost Excellent

First of all 24.99 is a decent price for a 64GB (shown as 59.5GB in Windows) USB stick. It also looks good and is a decent size. It has a red flashing LED inside to show when data is transferring also.

The data transfer rate is also better than the 32GB version, varying from 9-12 mbps. Which is much improved, but probably should be better.

The only real downfall is the inability to transfer files larger than 4GB's onto it. Surely the limit should be a 64GB file even though the largest file I've come across is only about 10GB. It's a bit of a pain with file sizes getting larger all the time due to improved audio and visual quality. One star off because of this, especially since it's not mentioned in the description.

Other than that it's a very good, straight forward, large capacity and fair priced piece of hardware.
