Philips SPA2600 5.1 Channel 70W Multimedia Speaker System

Cant fault this speaker system at all. Excellent music quality, bombing bass and insanely loud "a must if your a music lover like me". For the price you'll be hard pressed to find anything close to the quality of these speakers.

Only problem i found is the rear speakers only have a 5m cable, considering i have the speakers in a very large room it is a bit of a pain had to run the wires under the carpet to get them to the place i wanted them instead of clipped round the walls.

A hint make sure your pc has a sound card capable of 5.1 systems. If you dont know if your pc is capable or not check on the rear for a green orange and black jack where your sound card is.

i loved these speakers when i saw them, and they are brillant

they have an adjustable bass control on the back of the subwoofer. you also get a volume contoller which is billiant

Ok I purchased these as a temporary fix before i payed up big money for a sound system. However, when i used this system I was shocked to find that the system makes absolutely no buzzing or hissing noise, even when on full volume (with nothing playing through them i mean..) then once you hit some music through it, the performance carries on - I've played my most bassy tunes on this system, on full blast, with Bass on full on the sub, and was glad to recieve NO distortion or loss of sound quality.

Wether your looking for a cheap £50 set of speakers, or an amazing set of top quality speakers, GET THIS!

Very good bass response, however i have only tested it at low volumes as i only recieved it last night, also only tested in 2.1 mode. But so far i am very very pleased with the item

The remote is useful as i know how annyoing it would get if u had to reach round the back of sub everytime, also the adjustable bass control on the sub is very useful.

The speakers and sub are very sleak looking and alot smaller than u think from the picture, the system also is easy to setup as there are plugs on the end of the speakers as apposed to just clipping flying wires into the ports.

All in all an amazing system from wot ive seen so far. Will do a full report after first proper test of the system in 5.1

I bought this systym as an "on a budget" system but it sounds just as amazing as more expensive systems. I tested them to full volume and they were crystal clear and the subwoofer is that powerful it was blowing my hair when i put my head next to it.

All in all if you are thinking about buying this item, dont hesitate to do so
