I have been using vista home premium for about 9 months now, doesn't really do anything that xp can't do, to the average pc user vista only looks better visually. Plus i can guarantee you that you will have compatiblility issues with it. I have gone back to using xp now because its more stable and doesn't need 2gb of ram to work properly.
stick with xp

I've been using Vista for almost a year now and i've finally given up with it. I wanted to give it a fair test and thought it would probably end up improving, but it hasn't. It slows my system down and is terrible for networking, if anyting it's got worse over time.
Stick with xp, its smoother and faster. Vista just seems to have been knocked together to fill the gap, it looks nice but nothing more.
