I'm not very good at FPS games. Even with the CyberSniper I'm still not very good. Only now I'm not very good in comfort.
The CyberSniper does not look or feel very impressive when you take it out of the wrapper and the lack of a setup disk was a bit off putting - but this is deceptive.
When it was plugged in Win XP recognised it and installed it in record time with no problems. I tested it in "Oblivion IV" and found that needed minimum changes to the default configuaration to get it work exactly as I wanted it.
The key labels and overall layout make it so much easier to use than a keyboard, which it completely replaced. The keys fall naturally in position under my short, stubby fingers and after a few minutes of use I found that I did not have to take my eyes of the screen and search for the appropriate key.
Pressing a key produces an instant response and I had no problems with any aspect of its use. It's small enough not to get in the way and I didn't even have to tidy my work station to set it up!
All told, the CyberSniper is a very effective replacement for the keyboard and worth considering.
