I think there was a batch issue with these because the only negative reviews are a few years old and were written around the same time.
My experience with these discs is that they do not let me down.
Indeed, I buy about 1000 every 3 months and I've not had any issues reported at all.
Great price, and absolutely worth while.

  Never a problem

I have used several hundred of these in the past and I've necr had a problem with any of the discs, I'm either very lucky or just don't use a bad CD writer.
I appreciate the other buyerscomments, but have they tried other manufacturers? If they give problems then maybe it's time to check your writer rather than the discs, like I said I have no problems. TDK are well respected and they wouldn't have this reputation without delivering.

I've used TDK CDR's for years and never had a problem. I appreciate that other people have had problems and when I purchased my most recent batch of CDRs I considered buying another brand because of the number of negative comments. But I bought TDK again and have had no problems at all. I have no idea why manufacturing CDRs should be so tricky but it seems that a brand that works on one person's machine won't work on another. The usual advice is 'find what brand is best for you and stick with it'. As I say, TDK works for me. But it seems ridiculous that the whole business is so 'hit and miss'. You'd imagine that with today's technology it wouldn't be so hard to manufacture a CDR that works for everyone!

  BUYER BEWARE

TDK are a very well respected company when it comes to quality blank media.
I chose to ignore the warnings contained in the previous reviews believing that most people will burn at a speed too high or try using other programs whilst burning.
I have tried several computers/programs and every CD left gaps in information.
BAD BATCH

I have used several hundred of these disks in the past and been a TDK fan for many years, however I must agree with some of the comments here, this latest batch is one of the worst blank disks I have ever had the misfortune to purchase, giving them one star was being generous.

I have bought three of these packs over the past few months and they are terrible. I burn a lot of DVD's/CD's and about half of each case had to be thrown out. My PC and MAC have trouble reading them when im about to burn.

  poor quality

I have thrown about half the pack away as there is 'a problem with the disc'. Used straight from the spindle, not scratched or anything. Have used various brands before and never have this problem. Not recommended. TDK quality obviously going downhill.

  Disappointing

Had a few coasters out of these discs. They also seem easily prone to light scratching and not as robust as other CD-Rs I have used.
I've used TDK media for many years including Cassettes, Minidisc and CD-R and they have never let me down until now. Maybe I just got a bad batch?
