I have used several hundred of these in the past and I've necr had a problem with any of the discs, I'm either very lucky or just don't use a bad CD writer.
I appreciate the other buyerscomments, but have they tried other manufacturers? If they give problems then maybe it's time to check your writer rather than the discs, like I said I have no problems. TDK are well respected and they wouldn't have this reputation without delivering.
I've used TDK CDR's for years and never had a problem. I appreciate that other people have had problems and when I purchased my most recent batch of CDRs I considered buying another brand because of the number of negative comments. But I bought TDK again and have had no problems at all. I have no idea why manufacturing CDRs should be so tricky but it seems that a brand that works on one person's machine won't work on another. The usual advice is 'find what brand is best for you and stick with it'. As I say, TDK works for me. But it seems ridiculous that the whole business is so 'hit and miss'. You'd imagine that with today's technology it wouldn't be so hard to manufacture a CDR that works for everyone!
I have used several hundred of these disks in the past and been a TDK fan for many years, however I must agree with some of the comments here, this latest batch is one of the worst blank disks I have ever had the misfortune to purchase, giving them one star was being generous.
