Great Headphones - No Lack of build quality

Quite a lot of reviews seem to be saying that the audio cable is very week yet I have caused more damage to the front of my computer case than the wire tripping up over it! The audio quality is also great and 23 pounds is very cheap for such an amazing product

No competition for the price you are paying!

Over the past 6 years of pc gaming, I have owned 3 pairs of these headphones, they did not however break due to the product being cheaply made. I sat on the first and accidently tripped over the wire on the second. The third however, is lasting, why do I keep buying these headphones for gaming? Several factors: The price, they're so cheap for the sound quality you get from them, there is a lot of bass, great for gaming and music alike. Quality, they last - full volume for sheer mindblowing sound - they never go "tinny"! Detachable microphone, great for when the mic isn't being used at the time, you don't have to constantly have it infront of your face. The mic is brilliant too, my friends all comment on how clear I sound and ask what headset I am using. Would I recommend it? Without a doubt, greatest headset i've had the pleasure of owning.

This headset provides superb audio quality(Including bass), the microphone is crisp, clear and cancels out most background noise(So good, that my friend once forgot he was talking to me on Skype, due to the silence.)

Only problem I had was my own fault(Tugged on the cable, causing the right side to stop working). With that being said, I have just placed an order for a second headset because they really are THAT good.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone looking for high a quality headset, at an affordable price!

  Good quality long lasting headset

I've had one of these headsets since July 2008 and it is still going strong. This thing is built incredibly well as I've used it nearly daily since I'd purchased it (excluding obvious things like holidays). Can't recommend it enough!

  Doesn't even work.

The soundcard built into my laptop won't register them, I can hear sound through them but cannot speak through the mic. I got rid of the box as I expected them to work, only to find out they don't. A waste of money and I hate it.

  Man up

I've had this headset for approximately 6 months now and I have not had a single problem with build quality or anything else for that matter! I tend to treat my stuff quite well so maybe that's why I've not had a problem. The comments about the cable being very thin are totally fair and the connections are the average cheapo type.
However treat it well and it's an excellent headset. In my opinion, and in comparison to the PC131 Seinheisser headset I had before the audio quality is very good and the microphone seems decent enough. Comfort is better than the PC131 but you still get that weird ear-hurting feeling after a couple of hours.

Bottom line: *Excellent* headset for the price, given 4-stars as build quality could be better but otherwise they're great!

  Good.

For the cash, these do the job. The microphone is very clear, easily adjustable and versatile; the option to detach it when it's not in use is a nice touch. The headset itself is very comfortable: the head and ear cushions are all in the right place and effective.
The headset's main flaw is sound quality for music. This headset is not ideal for listening to music - bass is boomy and overpowering, though the effects of this can be minimised with some serious EQ tweaking from within your media player. However, when it comes to gaming, this extra bass power is a major plus: explosions and other in-game sounds as well as speech are given incredible depth and power as a result, helping to immerse the player.
The other main flaw is sound positioning within games. For example, I sometimes cannot tell if footsteps I hear in-game (the game in question here is CounterStrike: Source) are in front of me or behind, and am forced to rely on the calls of my team-mates; though somehow only occasionally a problem, this has been the cause of my death a couple of times where it could otherwise have been avoided so it deserves a mention!
A third problem is that the headset cable looks and feels a little flimsy. These have lasted a year now, so I don't know if I've just taken really good care of mine or if this appearance is deceptive, but worth a mention. A friend of mine reports that he gets through one of these headsets every two months.
However, these minor gripes aside, I think these are worth a look at least. They're great value for money; perfect for the gamer on a budget.
