  Not for Gaming

| | See all continue's reviews (3)

For regular home use and downloading through HTTP and torrents, this router is great, it's pretty stable and has no issues pumping out the speeds it should. However, if you are a user of any Steam games, Battlefield 2, or similar games, do not for the love of god buy this router. As soon as the router gets hit with the connections, depending on the version it will either lock up completely and drop your connection or fail to show a complete server list and leave you with ping in the thousands, unable to join any games. This really is not a router for any sort of PC gaming, so if that's something you are going to be doing, buy something else.

This comes with 2 Cd's, one for the Router and one for the Adapter. It asks you to install the software from the CD before using the equipment. I did this for the adpater but not the router and it still works fine. Please note that you do not need the CD to use the router, however you can only set up security unless you do so. You will need a WIRED connection from your router to PC to install the software, but apart from that wireless works great.

I use 2 MB Virgin Media broadband, and games like Team Fortress 2 and Warhammer Online work perfect. Good, reliable router.

I was a little skeptical when I bought this router and am happy to say that all my reservations where unfounded. I'm with virgin (formely NTL) and the router was easy to setup with all my devices which include my Wii, Ps3, x3 Nintendo DS, PSP, laptop and desktop.

Overall, Excellent router which I found easy to setup and connect to the internet within 5 minutes of opening the box.

Needed to set up my modem [Virgin Media] for my Laptop and my PS3..Had to call the help line but only took 5 mins to get it working but what a great Router..Strong signals and most of all my PS3 is online.
I'm a happy customer and is recommended at a bargain price!
