great item, looking for the 16 or 32 gb one when a little cheaper.
reliable, east to use.

  What more could you want?

Bought one of these around 18 months ago when they were on sale. Since then have not looked back. It's been through the washing machine twice and still works perfectly fine. The capacity is enough as I have all my Uni work on it and still plenty extra if/when I want to move files between computers.

Transfer speeds are great (for larger files) and it's not bulky at all ... which is good as I tend to lose small things anyway.

And as an added bonus, you can quite easily throw them off walls and not experience any problems (and yes, I have done that).

Well worth 27 quid.

its a must buy the capacity is great the price is great and the 10 YEAR WARRENTY mind blowing also the stick feels really well made. I would recommend people to buy this stick other than the smaller corsair stick because it's smaller than the picture suggests any smaller and I would forget about it and leave it behind.

Great product let down by design of the dust cap

Was very impressed with this item at first, but have found that (in 6 months of regular use) the rubbber cap has gone 'soft' and so doesn't stay on.

I have subsequently lost the cap (easily done when it slides off!) so the drive cannot be left on my keyring as it would be ruined by pocket fluff etc.

As I said, the cap was fine at first, but seemed to stretch / go soft over time.

A rugged drive with excellent build quality, top product!

This is a nicely sized USB drive, it looks like bulky and large but infact is quite slim. Its rubberised with about 4mm rubber so is extremely durable too, although there is nowhere to put the cap whilst its in use.

The transfer speed is just above average, but considerably behind the faster SLC drives on the market, such as the voyager GT, so took me a while to transfer 5.7GB of assorted files.

All round a great product, highly recommended, and at £14, you'd be stupid not to.

  No lanyard!

| | See all stepdown's reviews (1)

A very tactile drive, the rubber really has a nice feel to it and the drive casing is very solid. It's smaller than I expected, but still big enough that it won't get lost as easily as other micro drives.

The reason for the missing star is that the lanyard included in previous packaging is no more. Also missing is the CD, but you can get the TrueCrypt software online, so this isn't a big loss.

For a little bit extra, you get great build quality from a name you can trust, just a shame about the lanyard.

This is by far the greatest USB flash drive I have ever used. Not the cheapest available, but worth the extra cash. Its small, compact and very fast.

I get corsair flash voyager sticks every time cos the speed is excellent, iv got a 512mb a 2gb and this 8gb, You get a strap so you can put it round your neck but iv never used them, I even dropped my 2gb stick getting in my mates car and he run over it and it still works today. I have done speed tests with my mates sticks and my corsair wins every time so i will stick with corsair.
